He loves the water! It was really good for me to swim in the pool too. He laughed and laughed and LOVED to splash himself... but if WE splashed him, he didn't like it at all! Afterward, we watched a soccer game at the community field on the walk back to Crystal's house. He LOVED watching the highschool boys run and kick the ball, but when people cheered as a goal was made, he started bawling! He dosen't like loud noises. Yesterday, as we were shopping, I found him a miniature yellow soccer ball. He is mesmerized by it! He grabs it and tries to bite it, and roll it, and throw it! He giggles and giggles when we roll it back to him too! Thank you, Crystal, for helping me to create our blog. I'm here in Arizona right now enjoying my sweet grandson, Dominic. He's 7 months old today! I can't believe how BIG he is growing. He's getting chunky little legs. He has the most beautiful little personality and such a great little grin. His eyes are so blue, it's unreal! I love reading books with him because he's so into them right now. Just since I've been here, he's discovered his feet! He loves to grab them and hold them and sometimes he'll even take a little nibble. What a cutie!<br /><br /><br />I was able to spend my 63rd birthday here with Crystal! We went to eat at the famous "Farm Grill" that is in her neighborhood, that Guy Ferraro raved about. They gave me a free meal for my birthday. It was delicious! That night, Crystal baked my a yummy carrot cake with tasty cream cheese frosting and too many candles for me to blow out in one breath (now, stop laughing)! That evening, we pushed Dom in his stroller around Crystal's neighborhood, Agritopia. It was a great birthday. Thank you to all of my SWEET family members who remembered to call me. You made me feel so special and loved and I love you all dearly! To my sweet husband... I miss you! I wish you were here to join in the fun with me. We are going to the clubhouse to go swimming tonight with little Dom, he loves the water! I can't wait.<br /><br /><br />I also can't wait to get to Louisiana next week to visit Robyn, Cori, and the little girlies! I can't believe my little Ella is all grown up and going to school already! She'll turn 5 while I'm there. Here's a cute conversation we just had over the phone the other day:<br />Nana: "I'm going to be able to be there on your birthday, Ella!"<br />Ella: "Oh, you'll want to fly because it's a looooong way in a car. Especially Texas!"<br />Nana: " As long as there aren't any hurricanes, I'll be there."<br />Ella: "Oh, please come, Nana. That's my <em>whole</em> birthday wish!"<br /><br />What a little darling!<br /><br /><br />Well... life is great, family is priceless.
